Korean BBQ grills, kimbap machines, coin karaoke and photo booths, exported from Korea
The equipment behind a Korean restaurant or a Korean-style leisure venue is mostly built by small Korean makers that sell at home and do not export. HANA for U, a trading company based near Incheon, buys it in Korea, checks it, packs it and ships it to you under one contract.

Power, gas and approvals: what differs outside Korea
Most problems with this kind of equipment appear after arrival, when it is connected. These are the points to settle before paying.
| Topic | How equipment is built for Korea | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Electricity | 220V single-phase or 380V three-phase, at 60Hz | Tell us your voltage, phase and frequency. Some makers build an export version, others cannot. Where they cannot, a transformer may work for some equipment and not for other equipment. See Korea 380V 60Hz machines: will they run in your country? |
| Gas | Gas models are made for Korean city gas (LNG) or for LPG | State your gas type and supply pressure. Burners and nozzles are specific to the gas. Ask the maker for the correct version; do not plan to convert on site without the maker’s parts. |
| Safety approval | Equipment sold in Korea carries Korean certification (KC) where Korean law requires it | KC applies in Korea. Your country may require its own electrical, gas or sanitation approval before commercial use. Confirm the requirement with your local authority or inspector before importing. We send specification sheets, nameplate photos and the certificates the maker holds. |
| Smoke extraction | BBQ tables are designed around a duct layout, under the floor or overhead | Give your contractor the maker’s duct drawings before the floor or ceiling is closed. Local ventilation and fire rules decide what is allowed. |
| Music licensing | The song library in a karaoke machine is supplied for the Korean market | Commercial use of music in your country is licensed in your country. Confirm the licence position and the song update method with the maker and with your local licensing body before buying. |
| Payment devices | Coin and bill acceptors and card readers are set up for Korean currency and Korean cards | Plan to fit a local payment device. Tell us which interface your device uses so we can ask the maker whether the kiosk supports it. |
| Manuals and software | Often in Korean only | We tell you before you pay which languages the manual and the screen software are available in. |
Import rules, duty rates and approval requirements differ by country and change. We do not state them here. Check with your local customs office or customs broker before importing.
What we check before shipment
Specification match
Model, voltage, gas type and options are compared with the order, and the nameplate is photographed.
Power-on test
Where the equipment can be run before packing, we record it running and send the video.
Parts and accessories
Grill plates, moulds, microphones, remotes, cables and consumables are counted against the packing list.
Spare parts
We ask the maker which wear parts to order with the equipment, and list them on the quote for you to decide.
Your own inspection
You can check the goods by live video or in person, or send an inspector of your choice.
Export packing
Equipment is packed for sea freight, with glass, screens and stone table tops protected separately.
Installation at your site is done by your own contractor or technician. We do not install outside Korea. Any warranty the maker offers on exported equipment is written on the quote.
How an order works
- Request. Send the equipment type, quantity, your country, and your power and gas details.
- Sourcing and quote. We find the equipment in Korea, confirm with the maker what can be built for your power and gas, and send photos, specifications and a price with the Incoterm stated (FOB, CFR or CIF from Incheon or Busan).
- Inspection. You check the goods by live video or in person. A third-party inspector of your choice is welcome.
- Proforma invoice and payment. Payment is by bank transfer against our proforma invoice. The terms are written on each quote.
- Packing and loading. We arrange export packing and container loading.
- Documents and shipment. You receive the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading, plus a certificate of origin when the goods qualify as Korean origin.
Planning a shipment? Use the container load calculator to estimate CBM and how many tables or booths fit in a 20ft or 40ft container. For the wider service, see Korea export sourcing. Dealers who buy for their own customers can read become a partner.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy Korean BBQ grill tables directly from a Korean manufacturer?
Yes, if the manufacturer is willing and able to export. Many makers of grill tables and roasters are small companies that sell through domestic channels and have no export staff. In that case an exporter in Korea buys the equipment and ships it to you.
Will Korean restaurant equipment work on my electricity and gas?
Not automatically. Korean equipment is built for 220V single-phase or 380V three-phase power at 60Hz, and gas models are made for Korean city gas (LNG) or LPG. Confirm your voltage, frequency, gas type and supply pressure with the maker before ordering. Some makers build an export version and others cannot.
Is Korean KC certification accepted in my country?
KC certification applies in Korea. Your country may require its own electrical, gas or sanitation approval before the equipment is used commercially. Check with your local authority before importing. We provide specification sheets, nameplate photos and the certificates the maker holds.
Can a Korean coin karaoke machine be used commercially abroad?
The hardware can be exported. The music is a separate question: commercial use of songs is licensed in the country where the venue operates, and the song library and its updates are supplied for the Korean market. Confirm both before buying. The coin or bill acceptor also has to be replaced with one for your currency.
Do you install the equipment?
No. We export from Korea, and installation is done by your own contractor. We send the manuals and installation drawings the maker provides, and tell you before you pay which languages they are in.
What is the minimum order?
There is no fixed minimum, but the service suits orders the size of a restaurant or venue fit-out, or at least part of a container. Prices and terms are stated on each quote.
