Buy machinery, equipment and stock lots from Korea through one exporter
Export sourcing on Unboxing Korea is handled by HANA for U, a trading company based near Incheon, Korea. We buy from Korean factories, manufacturers and brand owners that do not export themselves, then inspect, pack and ship to you under one contract.

| Your situation | What goes wrong buying direct | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| A Korean factory is selling a used machine | The seller has no English-speaking staff, no export paperwork, and wants the machine removed quickly | We sign the purchase in Korea, arrange dismantling and loading, and issue the export documents |
| A small manufacturer makes the product you want | No export staff and no overseas contact after delivery | We act as your single contact, confirm the specification and inspect before shipment |
| Your order spans several suppliers | Separate invoices, payments and shipments for each supplier | We consolidate everything into one invoice and one shipment |
| A brand or distributor is clearing inventory | Stock is offered only to domestic buyers | We buy domestically and export to the markets the seller permits |
What we export from Korea
We handle orders where the seller cannot export directly: large single items and mixed orders from many small suppliers. For regulated goods such as cosmetics and food, the importer of record handles product registration in the destination country. Medical devices and medicines are outside ordinary consolidation orders.

- Sourcing and quote. We locate the goods in Korea and send photos, specifications and a price with the Incoterm stated (FOB, CFR or CIF from Incheon or Busan).
- Inspection. You check the goods by live video or in person. A third-party inspector of your choice is welcome.
- Proforma invoice and payment. Payment is by bank transfer against our proforma invoice. The terms are written on each quote.
- Packing and loading. We arrange dismantling where needed, export packing and container loading.
- Documents and shipment. You receive the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading, plus a certificate of origin when the goods qualify as Korean origin.
Planning a shipment? Use the container load calculator to estimate CBM and how many units fit in a 20ft or 40ft container.
Duties, origin and export rules
| Topic | What importers should know |
|---|---|
| Free trade agreements | Korea has trade agreements with the EU, the UK, ASEAN, India, Australia, Canada and many other partners. Preferential duty applies only to goods that qualify as Korean origin and ship with a valid certificate of origin. |
| Used goods | A used machine located in Korea is not automatically Korean origin. We tell you before you pay whether a certificate of origin can be issued. |
| Used machinery import rules | Many countries set an age limit or require a pre-shipment inspection for used machinery. We confirm the rule for your country before quoting. |
| Export control | Some high-precision machine tools and robots need a Korean strategic-item classification before export. We file the classification request. |
Frequently asked questions
Can a foreign company buy directly from a Korean factory?
Yes, if the factory is willing and able to export. Many sellers of used equipment and many small manufacturers are not: they have no export staff and no experience with export documents. In those cases an exporter in Korea buys the goods and ships them to you.
What is the minimum order?
There is no fixed minimum, but our service suits orders that fill at least part of a container or involve a single high-value machine. Small parcel orders are better served by a shopping service.
Which ports do you ship from?
Incheon and Busan are the usual ports. We quote FOB, CFR or CIF as you prefer.
Can I inspect the goods before paying?
Yes. We arrange a live video inspection or an on-site visit, and you may send your own inspector.
Do you provide a certificate of origin?
We provide one when the goods qualify as Korean origin under the relevant trade agreement. For used or foreign-made goods located in Korea this is often not possible, and we say so before you pay.
Which products do you not handle?
Medical devices, medicines and other goods that need a licence to trade. For cosmetics and food we consolidate orders, but the importer of record must hold the registrations required in the destination country.
