Why tourists can’t just order on Coupang
Korea has some of the fastest online shopping in the world, but it is built for residents. Signing up and paying on Korean online stores usually requires identity verification through a Korean mobile number and a Korean-issued card or bank account. A foreign SIM, an eSIM data plan or a foreign credit card often fails at one of those steps — and even if checkout works, the courier needs a Korean address and a contact number to call.
We are the missing step. Unboxing Korea (Hana For You, business reg. 326-46-01326) places the order with our Korean account, pays in won, and has it delivered to your hotel in your check-in name. You pay us in US dollars. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with Coupang or any other store.

Example: an item listed at ₩20,000 → ₩28,000 with the 40% → about $19 at roughly ₩1,445 per US$ → about $24 with the $5. We always send the exact USD total before you pay. The 40% covers the Korean-side order, payment, delivery coordination and our time; there are no hidden fees.

What we can’t buy
We do not handle medicines of any kind (including over-the-counter), prescription items, alcohol or tobacco. Quasi-drugs such as masks, plasters and hand sanitizer, and health-supplement foods, are fine. For medicine, a Korean pharmacy (약국) can help.
How to order in 3 steps
- Message us on WhatsApp with the items (kit name, link or photo), your hotel name, the name on the booking and your check-in date.
- Approve and pay. We confirm availability and send the USD total. Pay 100% by card payment link or PayPal by 10 PM KST.
- Collect at the front desk the next day under your check-in name. Staying in an Airbnb? Send the full address and let your host know.

FAQ — Korean online shopping for tourists
Can I use Coupang as a foreigner?
Usually not as a short-term visitor: Korean stores typically ask for Korean mobile identity verification and a Korean payment method. We order on your behalf instead.
Is it really next day?
Yes for orders paid by 10 PM KST, delivered to your hotel front desk the next day. Only suitcases are delivered the same day.
Can it arrive before I check in?
Some hotels refuse parcels that arrive the day before a guest checks in, so we ask for your check-in date and schedule around it.
What if an item is out of stock?
We suggest an equivalent first and only order after you agree.
What about refunds?
Our service fee is non-refundable. Products follow the selling store’s return policy.
